A few words from Jamie's family
My first meeting with Jamie was a kind of love at first sight, I immediately connected to him and when me and my family were about to leave him at the shelter after our first walk I cried and cried.
We had no thoughts at all of adopting a dog while on vacation in Skiathos but this time our hearts lead us.

Jamie came home a short time after and although it has been quite a journey for him to adapt into his new home and family (he wasn't too satisfied with us already having two dogs) we have always known that we can make a difference for Jamie in our home. He has been going through so many stages of development so it has sometimes been hard for us to follow.
At first he was really tired and never wanted to leave us (but loved to be without the other dogs), then he went into some kind of puppy phase which drove us crazy, he ate everything he saw - especially shoes. After that a fantastic teenager phase where he really tested us but a few months ago he settled and became more confident in all of us, even the other dogs.
He is actually even trying to follow what they are doing and finds it challenging to howl like they do, but he tries and is very cute by doing so. He is the very best and we all love him so much - so follow your heart sometimes is a very good idea.

A few words from Chico's family

We have had Chico here with us in the UK for just over 2 months now, his personality is contagious and he can be so goofy! His new nickname is cheeky sometimes cheeky Chico!

Everyday he comes more and more out of his shell, I think he is starting to realize more and more he is safe now and has a loving forever home!
He has been such a wonderful addition to our lives we can’t imagine life without him!
If you do one thing whilst your in Skiathos make sure it’s visiting the amazing Skiathos Dog Shelter to see all the dogs and how hard the staff and volunteers work! Who knows maybe you’ll fall in love like we did with our Chico and just have to bring one or two… home!

A word from Freddie

Hi everyone, the ladies' favourite Freddie here!

I’m living in the UK and loving my life with my pack of ladies - (I’m the only boy in my all- girl squad!)

I settled in really well at home not too many toilet accidents which was great. I had my own little private space just for me which I used till I felt more familiar with my buddies,
but the girls are so friendly I soon got the hang what we do every day. I’m funny, smart and opportunistic around food!
A word from Hugo's family

When Hugo arrived he was extremely nervous. He wouldn't walk on our wooden floors and barked at his reflection in all the mirrors.

He stuck to us like glue,...but after a couple of days it was like he had been here forever.

Hugo now plays, joins in all the fun (and naughtiness), with the others and has just the most loving goofy personality. He also smiles a lot!
