Luna is one of the rare dogs that was surrendered to us by their owners.

She grew up in a loving family home on the island, and spent her days with her mum and dad, and she lived both indoors and outdoors. But then life changed and a baby came in to their lives.

 

This was making Luna very stressed and she felt she had to protect her mama and this lead to Luna behaving in a way that made the family worried. They tried to work with Luna but she was not willing to change her ways.

After long conversations with us and a lot of tears, they decided that Luna would be better off at the shelter and for us to find her a new home.

 

Luna came with a up to date health book. 

 

It has taken her some weeks to get use to her new "home" and she is slowly starting to trust us. At the moment she is living on her own in a pen next to Lucky.

 

She walks very well on the lead and know commands like sit, stop etc. 

 

We think Luna would be at her happiest if she lived in a family with adults only or with teenage children. Luna needs a lot of quite time to adjust in to new situations.
