Betty was left at the shelter in December of 2024, just behind the gate.

When she was found she was very stressed and unsure of all of us humans, and of her new home.

​

But slowly she has calmed down and she has been practicing walking on the lead in a harness every day. Betty definitely was a dancer in a previous life probably a Ballerina, since she prefers to walk on her "tippy toes"!

 

Betty is a loving and affectionate dog and would make a fantastic family dog. 

 

She will need a gentle touch and a chance to get familiar to her new family slowly and with much attention to her needs. 

 

If Betty becomes YOUR dog she will steal you heart away and love you for the rest of her life!
