Ronnie is a special little boy, he is quick to bark at you and show you his lovely smile and teeth, but under all that it's just built up fear.

Ronnie seems to have an easier time to get close to the lady visitors but with time and soft spoken words even the men get to pet him.

As strays don't come with any information about their past we can only assume Ronnie's start in life wasn't an easy one.

Nevertheless, he is a sweetheart and once you've won his trust he will come to you for closeness and cuddles, but all in his own time.

Dave, one of our volunteers have spent some extra quality time with him and here are a few words from him.

"Ronnie can be quite shy and a bit jumpy around noises. But he is a friendly, boy with a sweet nature who loves going for walks, and he loves cuddles. He ha always mixed well with most dogs."

We believe that Ronnie would be happiest in a quite adult home only, where he would be given time and space to find his confidence.
