Cookie, well the name suits her, she is sweet as a cookie!

When she arrived a the shelter we had no idea she was pregnant, we basically just thought she was putting on weight as most of the dogs do when they arrive.

 

But a few weeks in we realized Cookie was going to have puppies! Mid January she came down with seven healthy pups, and she has been a fantastic mother to all of them.

 

Cookie is a loving dog and she thrives in her contact with humans, Cookie walks real well on the lead and seems to get on with most of the dogs in the shelter. 

 

We think Cookie would make a fantastic family member!
